The only thing better is flying

Racing down a water slide at full speed is an experience enjoyed by children and adults alike. With tunnels, loops and funnel sections, modern water slides offer endless possibilities for excitement. Whether it's the longest, most spectacular or most extreme slide, creativity knows no limits.

Just a few weeks ago, Kentner — part of the Noerpel Group for the past five years — delivered slide components measuring up to six metres in length for looping and raft slides to a shipyard in Papenburg, Lower Saxony, using three articulated trucks. Today, these components are one of the highlights of the pool deck of a new cruise ship.

Further water slide deliveries to the shipyard near the Dutch border are scheduled over the coming months. The slides are manufactured by Heinz Fritz GmbH, a plastics processing specialist based in Herbrechtingen, Baden-Württemberg. As well as water slides, the company produces oversized acrylic panels for zoo aquariums, distinctive lighting installations, and modern interior furnishings — all of which are expertly crafted from plastic materials.

Specialist carrier Kentner has been handling the transport of these often large and complex structures for more than 25 years. “It works perfectly,” says company owner Heinz Fritz.
