 AUMA products help industrial facilities around the world, including power plants, refineries and pipeline networks, operate safely and efficiently. AUMA stands for Armaturen- und Maschinen-Antriebe. Headquartered in Müllheim near Freiburg, the company manufactures electric actuators and valve gearboxes, and is one of the world's leading providers in its sector. Every actuator is tailored to specific customer requirements, providing automation solutions for applications ranging from compact two-inch ball valves to gas switching systems several metres high. 

 

 Just as AUMA ensures precise movement in industrial applications of every size, the Noerpel Group keeps AUMA’s material flows moving. Since March of this year, we have been responsible for organising complete procurement logistics for all production facilities, as well as a significant proportion of the company’s suppliers. Noerpel also manages the reliable domestic and international delivery of sensitive components, including customs clearance. In addition to our location in Teningen, which is situated around 50 kilometres from AUMA’s headquarters, our forwarding branches in Ulm, Hilden and Villingen-Schwenningen are also integrated into transport operations. 

 

 Next year, AUMA will celebrate its 60th anniversary and an impressive success story. It has grown into a major global player, employing more than 2,600 people across 30 locations worldwide. AUMA remains an owner-managed family business to this day, just like the Noerpel Group. This shared value connects us, as does our strong and successful partnership.
