Today, the company is a global technology leader in key areas of fastening technology. Fischer employs around 4,700 people worldwide and distributes its products in approximately 120 countries. 

 

For a company with such an international presence, securing reliable supply chains with the help of a logistics partner is essential. The Noerpel Group plays a key role in transport operations throughout Europe. Fischer and our Stuttgart-based subsidiary ERKA have enjoyed a successful working relationship since the 1980s. Building on this experience and our robust European network, we consistently deliver to industrial customers and trading companies across the continent. 

 

This includes customers in Italy and Austria, as well as importers and retailers in Ireland and Belgium, in addition to Fischer’s national subsidiaries. Between January and August 2023 alone, we deployed 837 trucks with a total of 12,303 loading positions to destinations across Europe. 

 

Despite consistently high shipment volumes, we continued to meet Fischer’s requirements in accordance with the 'Six Rights of Logistics': delivering the right product, at the right time, in the right quantity, of the right quality, at the right cost, to the right destination.
