Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of mobile cranes. It develops state-of-the-art telescopic and lattice-boom cranes on mobile and crawler chassis for use in building construction, infrastructure projects, and port handling operations. Every day, Liebherr-Werk Ehingen delivers eight mobile cranes to customers around the world. Around 3,800 people are employed at the company’s Baden-Württemberg site. 

 

The Noerpel Group has managed inbound logistics for Liebherr-Werk Ehingen and additional Liebherr production sites for many years, coordinating procurement activities for over 150 suppliers. Noerpel handles over 60 shipments for Liebherr every day, including multiple daily loads of ballast weights from France. These components provide the stability required for Liebherr cranes operating on challenging projects around the world.
