Living our #MovingForwardTogether philosophy means taking responsibility beyond our day-to-day business. At Christmas, we support social initiatives and charitable organisations that make a tangible difference in the regions where we operate. We focus on providing direct support where it is needed most.
The organisations we support during the Christmas season include:
Campaign 100,000 and ULMER HELFT
People in need in our immediate neighborhood in Ulm, Neu-Ulm, and the Alb-Donau district are supported with the donations collected. For example, shortly before Christmas, the campaign team sends out over 1,500 checks to people living on the brink of poverty. At the end of each campaign period, donations are distributed to over 100 projects run by social and charitable organizations.
Hospizbewegung Hilden e.V. and the Hilden Food Bank
The Hilden Food Bank collects donated food and distributes it to low-income individuals in need, such as the unemployed, single parents, or retirees. The Hilden Hospice Movement (Hospizbewegung Hilden e.V.) supports the seriously ill, the dying, and their families during this difficult phase of life.
St. Nikolaus Children’s Hospice in Bad Grönenbach
The St. Nikolaus Children’s Hospice in Bad Grönenbach supports families with children suffering from incurable and life-shortening illnesses during the phases of illness, dying, and grieving.
Hauzenberg Food Bank & Passau Food Bank
Both organizations collect donated food and distribute it to low-income individuals in need, such as the unemployed, single parents, or retirees.
- Helping Children with Cancer in the FFB District
The non-profit organisation 'Helping Children with Cancer in the Fürstenfeldbruck District, Inc.' grants children's wishes during and after hospital stays. Special toys, therapeutic horse riding lessons and relaxing holidays for the whole family all help to bring a smile to the children’s faces.
The Noerpel Group has worked with many of these organisations for several years; we know each other well and trust one another. We are delighted to see how donations are turned into tangible help that reaches those who need it most.
