CargoLine has announced its International Partners of the Year for 2022
Lebert (Switzerland) was named ahead of Englmayer (Austria) and Van Duuren (the Netherlands). Lebert also received the special quality award.
Frankfurt am Main, 22 May 2023 – Lebert, based in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland, does full credit to the Swiss reputation for quality. Not only does the transport and logistics service provider top the 2022 performance ranking of international CargoLine partners, but it was also presented with the ‘Quality Award’ in recognition of its consistently high standards.
The award ceremony took place during the spring meeting of the international network partners in Paris, which was hosted by the French partner DGS. Also on the podium were Spedition Englmayer from Wels, Austria, who defended their second-place position from the previous year, and Van Duuren from the Netherlands, who made it into the top three for the first time. As always, the award was based on operational, sales and quality metrics, which were evaluated monthly over the past calendar year.
Consistently high performance across all areas.
‘Lebert achieved exceptionally strong scores across the board, whether in terms of network integration, operational execution, communication, digitalisation or the marketing of CargoLine-specific products. This enabled the company to move from third place in the previous year to first,” said Bernd Höppner, the managing director responsible for CargoLine’s international development.
He also emphasised a broader trend within the network: ‘The gap in overall scores between partners continues to narrow, demonstrating that our international network is becoming increasingly consistent at a very high level.’
Of particular note was Van Duuren's development. After entering the ranking in seventh place as a new CargoLine partner the previous year, the company made significant improvements in all categories in 2022. Continuous improvement initiatives and stronger integration into the network contributed substantially to this progress.
“With the right focus during the current assessment period, both Van Duuren and Englmayer have every opportunity to top the rankings in future,” added Bernd Höppner.
Quality and performance are key benchmarks
The International CargoLine Partner of the Year award is based on a variety of qualitative and quantitative performance indicators. These include interface scanning completeness for shipment tracking during delivery processes, shipment volume development, premium service marketing, inbound shipment delivery performance, employee engagement in working groups and decision-making committees, and the degree of connectivity with partner companies across the network. The Quality Award is determined exclusively by quality-related performance metrics from the overall evaluation, recognising partners that consistently deliver outstanding operational standards.
