In the latest IDS Quality Ranking 2025, Noerpel reaffirms its strong position within the network: The Noerpel Heidenheim depot once again secures 2nd place, while the Baienfurt location achieves an outstanding 7th place.
IDS Logistik GmbH has published the results of the 2025 Quality Ranking—and the Noerpel Group is once again among the top performers in the Germany-wide general cargo network. As in the previous year, the Noerpel depot in Heidenheim took second place in the quality ranking. Achim Tögel, Inbound Freight Forwarding Manager, accepted the award on March 27, 2026, on behalf of Branch Manager Alexa Toberer. While Hans Geis GmbH + Co KG, Kürnach, took first place, Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG in Ilsfeld was named “Rising Star of the Year.”
Noerpel Locations Set Quality Standards
Particularly noteworthy: The Heidenheim freight forwarding location has only been part of the
IDS network since 2022 and rose to the top 10 in a very short time. Since then, the location has continuously improved and solidified its top position on the winners’ podium.
The Baienfurt location is also performing strongly, ranking 7th. This result reflects the consistent focus on quality and the dedication of the entire team.
Consistently High-Level Performance
In its Quality Ranking, IDS—Germany’s largest general cargo cooperative—evaluates the service quality of its partner depots once a year. Key factors include adherence to delivery commitments, the quality and completeness of scanning processes in local and long-distance transport, the performance of express shipments, and the results of regular quality audits.
“The measures introduced in recent years are having an impact, and we have been able to further build on our consistently high level of quality. The IDS partners have delivered impressive results across the board,” says IDS Managing Director Michael Bargl.
A look at the 2025 quality metrics underscores that the IDS network continues to operate at a consistently high level of performance. The improvement is particularly evident in unloading scans for local transport, which rose from 97.2 percent to 99.0 percent. The PAD delivery rate also increased to 98.0 percent. In the express sector, the results likewise confirm high process stability, once again reaching top values of up to 99.7 percent.
