Noerpel is once again among the network’s top-performing depots!
Noerpel has secured several leading positions in the 2025 IDS Quality Ranking. The Heidenheim depot achieved second place for the second consecutive year, while the Baienfurt depot ranked an impressive seventh in the nationwide IDS partner depot benchmarking.
IDS Logistik GmbH has published the results of its Quality Ranking for 2025, in which Noerpel remains among the strongest performers in Germany’s leading general cargo network. As in the previous year, the Heidenheim depot finished in second place, confirming its consistently high service quality.
This is particularly noteworthy given that the Heidenheim freight forwarding site only joined the IDS network in 2022. In a very short period, the depot has advanced into the top ten and continued to improve its performance year on year, firmly establishing its position as one of the network’s highest-ranked locations.
Baienfurt also delivered an outstanding result, securing seventh place in the ranking. This reflects the site’s ongoing commitment to quality and the dedicated efforts of the entire team.
The Lighthouse Project delivers measurable results
Over the past two years, Noerpel has implemented targeted initiatives through its 'Improving Transport Quality' Lighthouse Project. "The latest IDS results clearly demonstrate that these measures are having a tangible impact and strengthening Noerpel’s long-term position within the network," says Michaela Ristic, Director of Corporate National Operations.
How service quality is assessed
Each year, IDS (Germany’s largest general cargo cooperation) evaluates the service performance of its partner depots through the Quality Ranking. Assessment criteria include compliance with delivery commitments, the quality and completeness of scanning processes in regional and long-distance transport, express shipment performance, and the results of regular quality audits.
We are delighted with these excellent results and congratulate our teams in Heidenheim and Baienfurt on this success.
