In an exceptionally close result, our Swiss location in Kreuzlingen (Lebert) secured second place in the CargoLine International Partner of the Year 2023 awards, finishing just one point behind the winner, Van Duuren, from the Netherlands. Third place was shared by Rohlig-Suus in Tarnowo Podgórne, Poland and Rhenus in Pratteln, Switzerland. Freja in Turku, Finland, received the Quality Award for achieving the highest service quality across the pan-European network.

Delivering on a Commitment to Quality

As in previous years, the awards were based on a comprehensive evaluation of operational, commercial, and quality-related performance indicators measured throughout the calendar year. The award ceremony took place during the spring meeting of CargoLine’s international partners, which was hosted by Portuguese network partner Torrestir on 16 April 2024 in Lisbon.

Thanks to an outstanding overall performance, the Noerpel Group’s Kreuzlingen location (Lebert) achieved an impressive second-place finish. The team delivered consistently strong results across both qualitative and quantitative assessment categories, only being surpassed by a competitor in the sales-related rankings by a small margin.

Broad Range of Evaluation Criteria

The assessment included various performance indicators, such as the completeness of interface scanning for parcel tracking during the delivery process, shipment volume development, successful premium product marketing, adherence to inbound shipment delivery commitments, and employee engagement within working groups and the cooperation's decision-making bodies. By contrast, the Quality Award is based exclusively on quality-related performance metrics from the overall evaluation.
