Noerpel Expands Its Commitment to Vocational Training

The Noerpel Group, headquartered in Ulm, is further strengthening its commitment to vocational training. In autumn 2025, the company welcomed a total of 122 young talents, increasing the number of training positions compared to the previous year (2024: 110 apprentices). The Group also plans to further expand its intake in 2026. At the same time, Noerpel has introduced a new training concept designed to provide more intensive support and uniform quality standards across all locations. In total, the Noerpel Group currently offers training and study opportunities in eleven different professions and degree programmes.

A few weeks ago, the new training year began across Germany. While some federal states welcomed their new apprentices in September, others started as early as August. At a time when many companies have reduced apprenticeship positions, partly for cost reasons, the Noerpel Group has continued to expand its training programme. “Today’s apprentices are tomorrow’s specialists,” says Judith Noerpel-Schneider, Member of the Management Board. “By providing high-quality vocational training, we want to make our contribution to addressing the shortage of skilled workers.” The Noerpel Group currently employs around 250 apprentices and students enrolled in dual study programmes. Career prospects within the company are excellent: Noerpel trains young professionals with the clear intention of offering long-term opportunities following successful completion of their programme. Potential career paths within the Group are therefore highlighted at an early stage.

New Training Concept for Consistent Standards Across the Group

To further improve processes and support before and during vocational training, and to provide the best possible development opportunities for young talents, the Noerpel Group has introduced a new training concept. The objective is to establish an even higher and more consistent quality standard across all locations. While the newly defined standards create a common framework for vocational training, they also allow sufficient flexibility to address site-specific requirements. The programme focuses on measures that support apprentices throughout their training journey. These include comprehensive onboarding activities, internal exam preparation courses, guidance on further development opportunities and a structured feedback culture. “We are also encouraging greater internal exchange and sharing successful ideas and approaches between locations,” explains Judith Noerpel-Schneider. “This enables the entire Group to benefit from proven best-practice examples.” During their first weeks with the company, the new apprentices have already participated in a range of induction events, training sessions and team activities, creating excellent conditions for a successful start to their professional careers. Applications for the 2026 training intake are already open across the Noerpel Group.
