Developing talent. Shaping the future.

Qualified employees are the foundation of robust logistics solutions. Through the NextGen-Academy, Noerpel systematically develops talent for future specialist and leadership roles.

“Through our NextGen development programme, we support dedicated employees who are ready to progress in their careers. At the same time, we are strengthening our long-term specialist expertise and leadership capabilities”

The first group of participants in the NextGen-Academy has successfully completed its 16-month development programme. Nine employees from various locations and business units broadened their expertise, gained new insights, and prepared themselves for greater responsibility and future challenges. "Through our NextGen development programme, we support dedicated employees who are ready to progress in their careers. At the same time, we are strengthening our long-term specialist expertise and leadership capabilities,” says Judith Noerpel-Schneider, Noerpel Group Executive Board Member responsible for Human Resources.

Learning, applying and growing together

The programme covers key topics such as communication, project management, collaboration and leadership. Through practical assignments and cross-location projects, participants can apply their knowledge directly and gain valuable hands-on experience. A particular highlight of the most recent NextGen-Academy was a strategic project focusing on the integration of new locations into the Noerpel Group. The analyses and recommendations developed by participants will inform the planning of future integration projects. 'The findings generated by our talents provide valuable support in successfully shaping future site integrations. This clearly demonstrates the added value of combining professional development with practical application," emphasises Christine Kamps, Member of the Executive Board of the Noerpel Group and initiator of the project.

A network that lasts

Supported by experienced managers and subject-matter experts, participants expanded their professional skills and built a valuable network across locations and departments. 'We learned a great deal professionally, but we also grew strongly as a team. We still benefit from this network in our day-to-day collaboration,” says participant Dennis Krieg.

Through the NextGen-Academy, Noerpel is investing specifically in the development of its employees, thereby strengthening the company’s innovative capacity and long-term competitiveness. Following its successful launch, the programme is now entering its next round, with the next generation of young talent set to join the NextGen-Academy next spring.
