We have published our latest Sustainability Report 2025.

Find out more about our economic, environmental and social commitments.

This is the third time that the Noerpel Group has voluntarily published a Sustainability Report. This time, the report incorporates elements of the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for the first time. This includes a double materiality assessment and the addition of initial data points in line with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). 'We are committed to transparency and are already preparing for the CSRD reporting requirements that will apply from the 2027 financial year,' says Viktoria Wessel, Head of Sustainability, Occupational Safety and Quality Management. The double materiality assessment identifies the company's impact on the environment, society and its employees, while also examining the influence of these areas on the business. Based on these findings, Noerpel identifies key risks and opportunities relating to environmental, social and economic sustainability.

Highlights from the Sustainability Report include:

  • Projects aimed at reducing our environmental footprint, including our new facility in Hilden, which was built to the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
  • Our new training concept, which is designed to ensure consistently high quality standards across all locations, and our internal talent development programme, the 'NextGen Academy', which prepares employees for future specialist and leadership roles.
  • Recognitions ranging from the ESG Award for our 2023/24 Sustainability Report to the Partnerstein Odelzhausen distinction as a top employer.
  • Our ISO 50001-certified energy management system.
