1946
Wilhelm Ascherl founded ASCHERL & Co. in Munich.
1948
The company opened its branch in Hilden near Düsseldorf.
One year later, a further branch was established in Hamburg.
1989
Ascherl became a co-founder and shareholder of the IDS groupage cooperation.
1995
Ascherl introduced a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
2010
Ascherl received AEO F certification.
2011
Ascherl was awarded IFS Logistics certification.
2012
Ascherl employed around 500 people across Germany and generated annual revenue of €91 million.
Its service portfolio included Europe-wide distribution and procurement logistics, warehousing and contract logistics, as well as ocean freight services.
2014
Ascherl & Co. became part of the Noerpel Group. By acquiring the branches in Hamburg, Hilden and Munich, Noerpel further expanded its network and strengthened its position as a nationwide logistics provider.
